Fenixp: It's all too fast! Can I pause the game and issue orders?
Yeah, you can. Hit pause/break key. In this pause mode, you can shuffle weapons, drink potions, or issue a single command - like move order, casting a spell or marking an enemy for attack. Orders don't stack, only the last one gets executed. Thanks Ravenvolf!
which key is the 'pause/break' key? it doesn't say in the controls menu!! :(

also, the portal in the orc camp outside the iron mines.... why can't i enter it??

thanks!
I got a strange key for some "massive door" in the orc caves, where might be the door? Does it have something to do with the famous undeground kigndom of Thron(sp)?

NovaStalker: The stairs you mention in the Iron Mine are behind a locked door that doesn't take bash damage. Any ideas?
Look for a key. It's bound to be either on the same floor, or in the Ork camp on the surface (where you found the book for the witch)

It is A key. Around Insert, Delete, scroll lock ... Above your arrows. Well considering you don't have a notebook.

It's a one-way portal... And you're on the wrong side.

Sadly, I don't quite remember names of all keys in the game :-P Just search around. Let me know if you find which door it fits.

Thank you bery much, Fenixp! Your advice about the secret passage was very helpful! It gave me a second chance to continue the game!

Bump

Dunno how far I'll bother with this game, but afaik this is the only english language help topic fo the game.

+rep fenixp for the effort and the review :)
I found the 2 parts of the dagger that was used to open a grave and I talked to the judge but it leads me nowhere, I cannot accuse him.
And I found the girl's corpse used for the ritual and talked about it with the boy Paul and the Herbalist - but what now?

I cannot go anywhere new, I've been everywhere except that I didn't go over the broken bridge and didn't kill the bishop but I'll try now after reading your advices.

Yeah, go over the broken bridge.
*Spoiler* The mines are so deep! I tried bringing a couple of magic boxes (they are so expensive!) but even with that I need to backtrack to the surface to repair and sell other stuff, buy potions. Did I take a wrong turn? Am I suppose to stop going down and try to find some stairs that go up? This dungeon is so unbearable even with two companions!

Nope, Iron Mines just take forever to get trough, they've got I think 6 floor, with about 2 or 3 branching ones. Don't worry, later dungeons usually have only 3 or 4 levels, Iron Mines are an extreme.

Thanks again Fenixp, but I'm not out of questions yet. ;) A few people here talked about a dog follower but I didn't found it... I'm now level 19, is it worth looking for the dog? Someone said you have to get the dog asap that it can level up with you.
Found Edmond d'arvias outside of town, but I can't kill him. I keep fighting him until my dog has used up all my potions then we both die.

Does he regenerate? (playing on medium difficulty)
Thank goodness for this thread. I'm actually stuck in the Iron Mines after you cross the broken bridge. There's another door before the stairs to the next level that I can't open. I've already been everywhere in that place a good five or more times looking for a key or a switch to unlock it, but to no avail. Should I just bash it for a good few minutes?

I also have a dead body and two parts of a broken dagger in my inventory. I've talked to everyone but don't know what I'm suppose to do with them. I'm guessing they may come into play later, if I ever make it past the mines?

Why would you want to kill him? If anything, get a permission to arrest him from the inquisitor guy on the square and then go tell Edmond that you wish to arrest him.

So how did you manage to pull through? Can you give me pointers? Right now I'm really frustrated!

I also suggest you not to kill him, talk to everybody about his case you will find another version of the story altough three or more people think they are sure they have seen him.

Did you levitate over the bridge? Then find the hidden passage anyway, there is someone who can give you a key.
