The only thing I still need to do is to exorcise Franceska. However, I am unable to start a conversation with her anymore! I can't click her in prison ( I already have a rosary, scriptures, mandragora potion and 3 flasks of holy water prepared).

1) Is Franceska supposed to be in middle cell? Not the rightmost cell where you can open the door?

2) Am I possibly lacking some permission from an NPC to start an exorcism? Basically, the only person I talked to about exorcising Franceska was the old woman who made me the mandragora potion.

3) Any cheats to pass walls/move a character/revive a character?

Which cell? I can only open the door to the rightmost cell, but Franceska is in middle cell, therefore I asked question 1. Middle cell is locked and neither attacking it nor the shatter spell works.

1. She's supposed to be in the rightmost cell. She was there the whole time in my game. So I'm guessing you've encountered a bug.

2. The only person I spoke to before the exorcism was Truncquillius who told me I was going to be investigated for the bishop's death. I don't know if this is the trigger for Francesca's exorcism or not, but you can try it anyway. You only need one vial of holy water for the exorcism.

I missed to speak to Truncquilius completely before I performed exorcism on Franceska, so for sure it is not a trigger...

Already talked to Trunquillius in my game, and Francessca's still in the middle cell. Talking to him doesn't seem to be the solution.

1. A rosary.
2. Holy scriptures (Bible)
3. Mandrake broth (not holy water). Herbwoman makes it, mandrake root is in Wasteland.

You learn how to perform an exorcism from gather Frerericks diary. It's in the cemetary.


There are no bugs in this quest.

That's not the problem though. The problem is that Francessca is stuck in the middle cell, which is unopenable and normally reserved for other torture victims, despite me having all the stuff.

These are two screenshots. The first shows that I have all the stuff, plus holy water, and the second shows Francessca stuck in the middle cell.

i am sure that cell can be open
but i forgot how to open it

way to open door in this game
1. spell
2. break/lockpick
3. key
4. switch
5. correct time

I think you may try other quest now
if i remember correctly Act 2 is finish after you save that girl

Now how the heck did that happen.

Can you arrest anyone? Maybe they'll push her out of the cell.

If not send this to Martin Kovar kovar@cinemax.cz . Nothing else comes to mind, as those doors are non-openable.

I think arresting someone moved her to that cell in the first place. She was in the the right most cell for a bit, then moved to the middle after I arrested the sewer zombie guy (I don't remember his name).

I can only arrest Christian Brookwelt, who is innocent and dies fighting back, and the Grand Duke, who I'm pretty sure is innocent.

On a side note, is it a glitch that I can arrest Christian even though I ended up killing his accuser for heresy?

if he is in the jail you want to talk you must go upstair talk the the boss in the jail
he will let you talk to him

The Baron is innocent, but he'll go willingly.

Try it anyway. At worst he takes the adjacent cell and you achieve nothing (aside from massively pissing off the sheriff and loosing some morality points ).
