Hello all, picked this game up recently and so far I've been really enjoying it. I just have a couple of quick questions:

First off. How exactly do I go about finding the Levitate spell? I keep talking to Dominicus and resetting his inventory, but, he never has that scroll in his inventory. Is there anywhere else I could find it, such as a random drop from an enemy, or someone else in town who may carry it?

As for my second question. Regarding the Life potion quest, I told the Herbalist to nevermind because I'd read about how she gets mad if you steal it from her and I was in the middle of the Executioner's Illness quest and needed to talk to her some more.

Now, I can't bring up the potion in conversation with her anymore and can only tell the Other fellow that he must be mistaken about her having it, prompting him to get angry with me and cancelling the quest. Is there anything I can do? Or have I basically screwed up this quest and missed out on some (hopefully unimportant) stuff?

That's what I thought too, but, after around 10 minutes of doing so and never once seeing the scroll in his inventory I got a little aggravated and figured I'd see if I could get it somewhere else. I'm having no luck with this blasted scroll! *laughs* Alright, sounds like I've not missed too much then. I guess I'll just go ahead and tell the Astrologist that she doesn't have it and let the quest cancel.

Just FYI, I intimidated her for the potion. She wouldn't speak to me until I completed her Herbarium quest, after which everything was back to normal (could talk, trade, etc.). It's just a question of whether you want to wait a long time (getting the herbarium means some really tough fights, even at level 12 when I did them) before you can interact with her again.
