have upped all magic schools to master level and have played a bit with combos. the best is - pillar of salt + dark mass. pillar stuns all enemies around the caster and makes them die from one hit. and dark mass does massive damage around the caster. this combo instantly kills all enemies on the large part of the screen.

magic is best to attack in this game
but it has to depend on your enemy
if they are werewolf or inquisitor

if 2 inquisitor come close and hit you with the 'dropping rock'
the first second you lost over 200 Hp
1 inquisitor can kill a lv 50 dog in 4sec
200 hp
i mean is under skill lv 20 of defend
armor class 38
physical defense 17

What's the range on Pillar of Salt and Dark Mass? Sounds like it would only be useful when getting swarmed by melee attackers.

When dealing with large mobs of ranged magic-users, I always try to draw them out one-by-one, then crucify them and let my comps finsih them while I draw out another. Slow-going, but effective.

range is almost the whole screen.
How's Rain of Fire and Ball Lightning in the Pagan Tree, I put quite a few points in the Pagan Tree already.
ball of lightning is like mirael seal, but with much more lightnings. rain of fire does massive dot, but only as fire.
