I have done everything in act 2 but need the information off the master of the brotherhood. I found tom clifford and his dad gave me the key to the cellar but if I go down I cannot talk to him only kill him and the judge wont let me charge him. If I kill him and get his diary it says I still haven't completed the quest of bringing them to justice. Help!!

Take the journal to Dieter von Gelbendiel and that should finish the quest.

I've tried killing Van Leerin and taking the journal to Gelbendiel but he doesn't recognise the quest as complete he still wants the criminal brought to him for justice.

yes spoke to her as well and told her the sister was dead
