Taarnah: With the Duke in jail, options don't seem to "open" like I've read in the forum posts.

Got to accuse the Duke's wife, many times, but can't get her to the dungeon. No options for this. No options to release the Duke, making other quests impossible to finish.

Spoke to the thief, he wants me to talk to the Duke...can't

Sheriff responds to nothing except to torture the Duke... a no no... I guess

NPC who tried to kill the priest has committed suicide...

executed both guys who inplicated the Duke's wife...

Have followed the walkthrough, but nothing else is opening.

any ideas.... I'm lost....

I do have the piece of cloak and most items mentioned on the forums when talking to the Duke's wife.

woosk: The piece of cloak and the accusations against the Duke is a red herring. He is innocent and he is supposed to give you a quest after you have arrested and burned his wife.

Two guys who implicated the Duke's wife and were executed? That is two proofs against her, and you need one more proof against her since she is of higher nobility. Check with the gravedigger at the Glatzburg cemetery by interacting with the door of the small house in that area. Complete what he asks you to do to get him to come out and talk to him to obtain the third proof you need.
