We'd like to inform you that on November 13th, 6pm UTC, Industry Giant 2 will be removed from our catalog due to ownership changes.

Those who already own the game, or will purchase it today before its removal, will still be able to access it through their GOG Library.

I purchased this game some time ago. I just got it free, on top of the purchased game. Is there something different about this version? thanks

from what I have heard, achievements for the galaxy version and the map editor is now included.

Yep, that's exactly it. This release is now on par with the Steam edition (I don't know if the previous one was), and the Map Editor is back, slightly refreshed compared to the original 2002 release.
