I want to buy and play this game with my brother and we're waiting for the co-op update to come to GOG for over a week. Is it coming any time soon?

It's available now! I'm very sorry for the delay, we've had some delays related to QA resources and the current pandemic, so it takes things a bit longer to get cleared for release. We're going to try to get back to concurrent releases on Steam and GOG for future releases, though.
