When I press the M key on Infernal Machine, according to the manual, I am supposed to get an overlay of the areas I have explored in the level. However, I am only getting an arrow (and if I select to show map hints, an X marking the spot). I have attached a screenshot.

Is this a bug? Has anyone encountered this before? Is it possible to see the map in this version of the game?

same for me i have only the arrow, please help us

I ended up finishing the game without map display. For most levels it wasn't that big of a deal (the level design makes each area distinguishable enough to remember where I was) but at a couple of points I had to use a video walthrough so I could find my way (I tried first a written guide but I got lost even following its directions).

I have the same problem. I tried different resolutions but only the yellow arrow appeared
