Still no luck for me with nglide. I am on a windows 7 64 bit computer. The crash issue is the same as before. Anyone else have issue after this and then manage to solve it later? I tried DEP setting changes also but that just causes my executable to have an error when I try to launch.


EDIT: Okay I changed it and on DEP added the Iwar file also as well as both for defiance and now it loads though the menu looks simplified for Deluxe...but maybe that's how it's supposed to look not sure I didn't play it back in day. When I try to launch the same iwar_start from gog galaxy I get this error though. So not sure what gog is doing that crashes it vs using the game exe directly but maybe they should look into it.

Anyone else have this issue and find a fix for launching it through gog?

It seems like the intro videos won't play. Probably videocodec related issue.
Try installing DirectX and check the folder where the intro movies are and see if they play if you double click on them.

Video works if I run it seperately or if I run the game using the exe outside of gog. It only encounters issues when I try to launch it from gog now. Before it worked from gog but then the game crashed after video. So I suppose the current situation is a slight improvement...
