Is there anyway to fix the mouse control in this game?
It reacts incredibly slowly and feels like the worlds most horrendous mouse acceleration or something is in effect.
It takes a second to react then shoots off way past where you wanted to aim at.

I can't see any fixes anywhere else in the forum, figured I'd make a new thread to refresh the issue.

Has anyone figured though out?

I can agree on that. I have the same issures with my mouse.
Same problem here. (Maybe it's time to acquire a joystick says the little voice in my head...)

The mouse issue is strange.
The game responds perfectly to my laptop scratchpad, and works with a simple microsoft mouse I have.
However it seems to not respond to another simple 3 button mouse (PCLine) and my gaming mouse (Logitech G5)

I can only guess that the game cannot deal with anything but small increments in mouse position, as when I move my Logitech and PC Line mice very slowly and carefully, then the game seems to respond?

Hopefully this is a fixable problem ?
I hope theres a way, if its to do with the sensitivity of modern mice, mines a cheap one that isn't adjustable so I am stuck in that regard.
I have a gamepad, but for some reason I can't get it to read the axis right (its an old direct input pad, not a X-input, so thats not the issue). So all I can do with that is strafe, it entirely ignores up/down and turning 8D

So kinda stuck with this being completely unplayable for me right now.
Which sucks.
Broken mouse input is still the case...

It wont even accept the input once in game, it just acts like you've done nothing. The menus at least know its there, but is it useable? Not at all. You can move it 2-3 across the screen, it locks up, then vanishes for a few seconds.

I never even knew this game was on PC until a few weeks ago and I'd been dying to play again after using the old Dreamcast version back in the day... being forced into keyboard controls on such a modern(ish) game, its really not fun.
The problem you encounter is due to the high polling rate of modern mice. If you have the possibility, turn it down to 125 Hz, then it will work fine.

Edit: Forget what I said. Just fixes the hitching I encountered, not the problem that it translates the mouse input in digital directions, one at a time >_>
