I was wondering if anyone else has video issues?

As soon as I start up the game, I can hear the sound of (I guess?) intro cinematic playing, and pressing escape or any key, will (I assume) take me the main menu, as the music changes... but still just a black screen.

Can't ALT-TAB , or ALT-ENTER, only CTRL+ALT+DEL + end task.

Tried all the compatibility settings, to no avail. Video just does not want to show.

Yea same thing here running it on Windows 7 with an Intel grapichs card. This strikes me as odd since I have been running a pre GoG version untill recently just fine

yeah but that was a real PC version, not a "new improved" version for android based from the PC version (which the android version was terrible) and this is a redux of that redux, and EVEN WORSE YET!

Gog must not even try these games out before they start selling them, because if they had they would know it doesn't work right.

PC means PC, not ported Android port from a PC version reported back for PC again..

I'm running Windows 10 64-bit, on an ACER Aspire V3 laptop.

Tried downloading and installing the K-Lite codec pack, that didn't help at all.

Guess I'll be uninstalling it and requesting a refund.... A pity, I really wanted to play this game, as it was made by my Countrymen, and I never got a chance to play it back in the day.

If that's true, then I am quite disappointed, indeed. I thought this is supposed to be good OLD games. I would prefer to play the game as it was ORIGINALLY released, not some may-or-may-not-work remake, or whatever.... Maybe include BOTH versions so people can chose which want they want to install and play.

I had this problem on my main laptop with a Intel gpu for normal use and an nVidia dedicated gpu. I got it to work by right clicking on the icon and select run with graphics processor nVidia.
I had the idea to try this as it worked another laptop with only Intel gpu and much weaker specs.

Wow I didnt know that..thats..really sad
I had really hoped to play an optimized version of this game from gog but this is just a tad sad.. oh well hopefuly there will be a fix for it sooner rather than later

Upon suggestion from Gog support, I updated my (Nvidia) graphic card driver and it worked! The game is running now here.

Congratulations! I have also tried updating my intel display drivers.... (first thing I did), but for me, it did not help, sadly.

Here is the ultimate solution:
"Please make sure you're drivers are up to date, and if you're using a laptop, start the game using the dedicated GPU, not the integrated one."

If you have Nvidia:
1 - Go to 3D settings / Program settings
2 - Add ig2.exe to the program list
3 - Chose high performance graphic card instead of the integrated card.

As far as I know the integrated GPU is the only one my laptop has and it fits the requirements but all I get is the black screen. So how do I get it to work?

new patch on steam today that may fix this issue for all or at least some people, hopefully the delay to releasing it on here won't be as big this time.
