I just got the game and am trying to play with wine through playonmac. But this thing is running so slow, with weird input glitches, like I can't scroll up with the mouse, any advice?

Also, is CXG worth getting?
I'm playing the game through Crossover for Mac, and it works fine. Occasionally, the game will crash, especially in the Goblin Warrens in Chapter 1. I do a Quick Save about every 2 minutes. Otherwise it runs fine except for the fact that the mouse will flicker.

If you're playing on a Mac, you'll need to play the game in Windowed Mode, not in Full Screen. Because the game was made for square monitors, and Macs are widescreen, the edges of the console will be cut off, meaning you can't get the screen to move. Also, the Gibberlings Widescreen Mod doesn't work on Macs, even through a cross-platform program.

I have all of the D&D games and I play them with CXG, I did encounter this problem with each one of the games, it cuts off the top and bottom part of the screen and it makes it hard to scroll, but I did some research and found a perfect solution to play the games on full screen. Go to manage bottles and go to the wine config of the game and uncheck both "allow the window manager to decorate the windows" and "allow the window manager to control the windows", it should run perfect in full screen after this is done. More info is on the codeweavers website which is where I look up before installing a game.
