So walkthroughs say that Terikan's phylactery is in the fourth tomb on the left hand side. There, however, I find only Terikan's journal and a few spell scrolls. OK, a phylactery *could* be a reminder, but in the game, the object is obviously going to be called a phylactery. A walkthrough said the desired object was in the coffin, and there are no other places it could be. Can someone pleasepleaseplease tell me what to do?

This bit is hellish. On a teeny minority of occasions, I can get my party into level 2 of Terikan's tomb, and sometimes they're even uninjured. Once there, alas, I can't save or rest, and if I stand and fight the baddies, everybody dies. I considered forgetting about Terikan and just going to the door at the far end of the room, but I need certain information from the fella who wants Terikan disposed of.

The phylacytery is on the predestal in his tomb, not in the coffin.

I resolved the problem of not being able to save by means of GETYOURCHEATON:movetoarea(area).

Now, I'm facing a few bronze sentries. I read that they can be got with crushing weapons, so I equipped my party with those, but even so, they kill my whole party very quickly, possibly faster than any other opponents, ever. They're immune to fire and have some protection from magic. I read that they can be bypassed with a Haste spell, but I don't have one. Can anyone help?

Invis one of your characters and pull the rest of your party up as close as you can get to them without them seeing your party. Put the invisible character as close to the door as you can get. Select the entire party and click to go through the door. Hopefully you'll be able to pull your party members close enough to the door to transition without getting killed. Worth a shot. Be warned that you'll be instantly in a battle on the other side of the door, but it's not as bad as those sentries. If this doesn't work for you, post back. As a last desperate measure, you cam use the console to kill them if you have no other options.

Hmm, they must have True Sight. Definitely worth a try. If you can get them to attack your summons, then pull the summon back to the bottom of the map (maybe keep your party in one of the side tombs out of sight), you might be able to get the sentries to chase your summons all the way to the bottom of the tomb. This will let your party slip through the door. Of note: you'll need at least one party member to be in line of sight of your summons or you won't be able to control them. As well, you should be ready to cast a second summoning spell when you're down to one summoned monster left. This should have a decent chance of working.

BTW, what happened to your Haste spell? You should have found a scroll by this point in the game (or can your mage not cast it)? Yeah, I understand your reluctance. I don't like doing something like that either. You know, sometimes you can catch the sentries in a Grease and Web combo. They're pretty resistant to magic, but you may be able to slow them down with the Grease spell and perhaps take them out one at a time with ranged weapons. I give this little chance of working though.
