Hello everyone!

How do you roleplay your paladins?

The paladin in my current party is a paragon of law, but she doesn't mind breaking a few rules as long as the outcome is harmless or would result in some kind of tactical advantage against an overwhelming foe.
Role playing in IWD is all but non existant :P

My paladins beat stuff up with a long sword or hammer, and that's pretty much it ;)

^ This. I'm a heavy role player, but you can't role play a narrative driven storyline, at least not in any meaningful sense.
Thanks for the reply! That's very true. There's not much elbow room to role play in this game. But I still like giving my Icewind Dale characters personalities and back stories.
Maybe your Paladin is a bloody murderer who kills innocent people, despite what is written on her character sheet? (But for whatever reason, doesn't do so in Easthaven or Kuldahar. Maybe she has respect for those two places.)
You can actually roleplay a good party with paladin quite well in IWD, it's not like in BG or BG2 where you get punished hard sometimes for doing so when you can and have no chance to finish the game if you take roleplaying seriously.

No lonelywood? I guess in this case, Lonelywood is off the list because Hailee's lies pissed off the paladin. Little girls who lie are little girls who must die and every one that has seen the said little girl must also die. Why? Ummmmmm, cos lies hurt people? Yup, sounds good enough to me.

What about the barbarian camp? No? Was slaughtering the White Wyrm tribe enough? Nah, of course it wasn't. Finish the job and wipe everyone out, including Hjolder. After all, it was his idea you visit a camp full of smelly barbies and who wants that?

Why would she do that? She's a holy paladin from a holy temple who wields a holy sword. How many more holies do you even need?
