OK, so here's my question: After completing all 3 of the Wandering Village quests, I went back to the village and defeated the possessed corpses. I noticed that my cleric was level 10, but has an effective level of 11. I tried a restoration spell and nothing changed. So...what gives? : )

Can you elaborate: what type of Cleric, and how did you determine his effective level is 11?

Is your Cleric an Aasimar or Tiefling by any chance? Those races are more powerful than other options, and are held back one level behind the rest of the party as a result.

OK that explains it, she's an Aasimar. Thanks! I thought I'd encountered a glitch.

Well at the top of her character info it said Cleric level 10, then the line under that said her effective level was 11. You folks rule!
