So i have hunted the forums and tried a few suggestions but still when I launch the game:

double click -> mouse disappears, and nothing happens.

What OS? PC? Or notebook?

If Win7 have you installed outside Programs and Programs(x86)? Somewhere like C:\Games. Run the installer as admin as well when you install the game.

Did you fully uninstall and reinstall the game (and not just move it), so that the '[Alias]' section of your icewind.ini points to the new location?

Then have you ensured that it is not being prevented from launching by your antivirus? Disable your antivirus temporarily while playing games, and be careful to cease any online activity, particularly downloading or browsing.
