How do I get custom portraits to work in IWDEE? I can't find an option to choose a custom portrait. I flipped through all the standard portraits, hoping that adding custom portraits would allow me to selection them from that menu, but that didn't work for me. The manual talks about a "custom menu", but I just can't seem to find it.

I bought the Beamdog version, but I suspect it's the same folder allocation. Go to C:\Users\....\Documents\Icewind Dale - Enhanced Edition\portraits You'll be able to drop files into that folder. I'm unsure what image type, the game recognizes. Assumption, tell me it's .bmp but could differ. The dimensions for IWD/BG typically are as follows: Large size portrait: 110 x 170 Small size portrait: 38 x 60.

Good luck, let me know if you figure it out.
Works now, thanks for your help. I added a couple more portraits and then it worked; maybe the game didn't recognise the first ones for some reason.
Not sure how this works in the EE, but in all the BG/PS/ID games the portrait files have to have an exact file type and pixel size.
For the original (non-EE) version, there were instructions for installing customized portraits on page 27 of the PDF user Manual included with the GOG installation. The only difference from the above instructions was you had to first create a folder called "Portraits" in the IWD game folder, then put your customized portraits in there for the game to find them.
