hi guys id like to ask - i am playin IWD2 on very hard mode single character 3lv rouge / 14lv wizard - somewhere in the ice temple i realized i dont get any XP at all for killing monsters / aurilties - just gettin CP for killing ice golems - only 962XP - bit later through the whole fellwood and in the marsches nov in the dorns deep i dont get any xps at all - and the battles are quite tough!
any ideas pls! THX

IWD2 has a botched implementation of the PnP D&D concept known as Challenge Rating. If your party's average level is too much higher than the CR of the enemies (as tends to happen with a single character getting all the XP), you will gain less or no XP. There is a file you can download to allow you to get some XP from every enemy, I'll find it and link it to you.

EDIT: Here is the file I was talking about. I recommend the one that boosts XP gained by 10%

It's normal that you don't get any combat XP for defeating monsters when your character is 8 levels higher than the monsters' challenge rating.
Don't worry, you get so many quest XP that you will reach level 27 as solo character at normal mode and can beat the game without mods.

THX a lot guys for ur replies :) i see now - ill try to download the file u mentioned "Thejadedmiu" - but iz it a mode, i mean somethin like a mode or unofficialenhacement? i never play games with cheats or somethin like that, but ill definitelly check it out!
