I've installed the game and everything, but when I click on the program it does nothing. It sits there for forever and doesn't do anything. I've tried running it as Admin, in XP SP3 compatibility mode, and yet it still does nothing. I've even tried installing to a different directory (C) and it still doesn't work. I have no clue as to what is wrong, can anyone help me?

Some things to try

1 - via the shortcut disable Visual Themes, Desktop Composition and Display Scaling in the compatibility tab

2 - In IWD Config, try enabling the Use OpenGL 3D Acceleration (or disble it if already enabled).

I tried both those things, I can't find how to use "OpenGL 3D Acc." I don't see it in the Config program.

I also tried re-downloading/installing, updating drivers and DirectX, and even disabling UAC. I'm at a comlete loss as to what I should do now. . .

the problem is with IWD2, if that helps any. . .

Yes I did.

I'm starting to think that maybe my Anti-Virus or firewall got in the way of the is=nstaler maybe??

And also, how can I access the "Enable/disable OpenGL"? I swear to god I can't find it :( lol

Sorry - that only applies to IWD1.

You could try the suggestions in this post regarding your video card settings :

Okay so I've tinkered with so many things trying to get this to run, and it still won't work. How does one go about getting their money back on this website??
