Hello. Just finished downloading this game. I ran it, clicked on create game, and the game would minimize and leave a black square at the top of the screen. When i look in Windows Task Manager it says it's not responding. How do i avert this issue?
I'm running windows 7 32bit, my graphics card is an nvidia 8600 gt.

You won't have the issue with save games if you don't install within Program Files folders. Installing to Program Files usually causes Windows (Vista and 7) to store save games and settings files somewhere inside your User folder, and also tends to require running as admin. It's to do with UAC and DEP. So I'd suggest installing somewhere like C:\Games\ or something.

i can't even get the game to start in windows 7. where is the exec file??

i can see icewnd dale in my programs then when i run or run as administrator nothing happens.
