Is there any good True End guide out there? The one I saw was on gamefaqs, but it was for old version of Nep.

Is it easy to screw yourself with True End in this game? I remember reaching True End was almost like science in previous IF games.

If I simply do all quests - it is enough for that? Some quests are repeatable? Are there ranking dungeons like in old version of Nep? Similar question - are there penalties for leaving dungeons before completing them?
You have to finsish the last storydungeon with each CPU share at 25% to get the true ending, you get also get some additional scenes if you have unlocked the CPU candidates, so you might want to save the true ending for NG+ since you don't have enough memory in your first run to unlock all of them.

Most quests are repeatable, which makes it easy to reach true ending if you have the patience. There's no penalty for leaving dungeons, additionally you can unlock optional dungeons and upgrade monsters with plans.

Are there quests, which can "disbalance" shares? As I understood you, you can also farm MB from repeatable quests? I have patience, I am not in a hurry :)

Sarisio:
All quests balance the shares around a bit, but the total sum of shares available is always 100.

MB isn't farmable as you can obtain it only during story events and some unique worldmap events, you get about 3~ GB per playthrough

My question then - are you 'capped' on number of playthroughts? Or you can repaet and stack them, if you have the time? :D

There's no limit on playthroughs and everything carries over (except characters: you have to go through the story to get them again), MB caps out at 9999 but you can unlock everything with it.

How many endings are there? I'd wager between 2 and 6.

This one only has 2.

The second one has a lot more.

Knowing that a game like Chrono Trigger has like 14 endings, 2 seems a little... shallow...

Of course having a unique ending for each character being highest/lowest would be interesting.

Yeah... but it's also about preference, no? FF7 has one ending, but people still hail it, right? :D

That`s what the second game does, it has an ending for each CPU and some special ones.

And yeah, Chrono Trigger pretty much rests upon the peak of Mount jRPG and looks down condescendently on its competition.

On other hand, it is general observation that games with multiple endings are quite short, IF games being exception from this rule.

Thing with IF games is that they might feature multiple endings but only one of them is considered True. True End unlocks additional content and is usually more demanding for requirements. In other words, non-True Endings mean that you lost and didn't complete game for real.

Or you see 'what if' version of the universe, not 'what really happend'. ;)

-No "Other" shares, every city 20+. 25 each isn't mandatory, you can do it with 21 and 29.
-Looks like almost impossible to fail.
-No. some quests increase "Other" shares, you would need to balance gains. Almost every quest is repeatable. No penalties as there is no "completion" flag it seems.
