Bethezer: Thanks, but you rised another question... uh... how long last boss fight takes if you play your first playthrough? How much you had to grind, then? Because this "3 turns of power attacks from 999 lvl characters' looks preatty menacing. :D
Game is on the easy side, you can finish it at level 65-70.
I got this level by completing "bosskilling" quests while managing shares, no exp grinding at all.
Also, without purchasing best weapon (I got armor from shop though) - game provides you with good enough.
Almost lost, when Boss did "Dragon breath" attack, something like 7-8k damage, 2 chars died, weren't at full hp.
My battle took maybe minutes 5-10, I didn't know that "Q" skips attack animation watched every 50+ hit exe-combo. Sigh.

Huh? oO *facepalm*
It happens to all of us. :)
Now if only that would work in Final Fantasy VIII as well (summoning G.F.s takes ages)...

Easy solution is to not use GFs in battle. They are very weak anyway, even Eden, they are only good for junctions and Gil-making. Only good use for them might be in Omega fight - to prevent one-shots, but then you won't see their animations anyway :))

And that made pandas sad, because summons suposed to be strong. :(

My lvl 65 party managed to bring it to 50% of its health, before it used an area attack that killed them all. I went back to do a few more dungeons, unlock a few more weapons/armors, then came back at lvl 80, and the fight was long, but not really hard.
It took me 60 hours to get there. I can't imagine how long it would be to get to lvl900+ ^^

I didn't get the "true" ending, nor did I meet those "candidates" you speak about, so I know I've got stuff to do in NG+ beyond simply farming for swimsuits and haipins. Which is quite cool, because even if it's somewhat grindy, I like this game :)

Yup, took me some time to find I could do it by pressing both triggers on the gamepad (although I didn't mind too much. The Exe combos are repetitive, but it's pretty satisfying to throw them at a boss).

That's not bad - I don't mind grinding, especially here, but still was curios how powerful this boss is, if he can get smacked by way overpowred characters and live a bit...

It took me 56 hours to complete game twice and get 999 level...
And I went for true ending + all candidates in first game, which is far from being optimal.

Leveling doesn't have huge impact on the game.
999 level power wise equal to level 1 character in best gear.

Well, color me impressed. Did you go in blind, or with a guide? 60h into the game, and after beating it once, I still don't have an idea about how to get the "candidates" (don't tell me, I prefer looking for them myself. I guess unlocking some of the optional dungeons might help. Or playing with the shares, especially since the game tries to sell me the idea of boosting Neptune's shares by dangling a new CPU armor set before my eyes)

That said, most of my "grind" was to get materials for some of the gear. When I concentrated on bossfights, the levels went up quite quickly, so I guess I lost a good amount of on optional stuff.

I also needed only around 55h for 3 playthroughs and lvl999. I'm still missing one or two add enemies/super ememies plans though. And while I didn't use a guide, a list for where to get all the items for your plans is something I'd really recommend. This spreadsheet or the neptunia wiki were pretty helpul imo.
And for lvl999: The colliseum enables you to powerlevel pretty fast, especially from 500-999 takes only 30min or so. 60-500 will take much longer though.

Don't forget that exe drives are far stronger than normal attacks and you can buff/debuff. With drives I'd have one shot her. My team also still had the setup for the lvl999 item/skill jammers, meaning magical attacks on my physical characters.

Oh my, someone already vandalized that page? A lot of maps are missing now. Its maker should have truly locked the page from changes.

Good thing I converted that site into pdf the first time I saw it.

I still wonder why the devs marked Rogue Galaxy as a sucky game. I had a lot of fun with it, even if it has s'''tloads of stuff to grind for. xD

and just for record, the attached image. :D
