I see that they rolled out an update on steam, though it is in beta. May decide to give this a go when the 60fps patch lands here on GOG.

I want to know if it's even planned to begin with, because apparently the GOG version hasn't gotten some patches.

This is becoming an increasing problem on GOG, where games don't get updated or patched as quickly as their Steam counterparts. Sometimes not at all.

This game looks really cool, but I've avoided it because of the 30fps lock. I'm really glad (and thankful!) that the developers decided to bump the frame rate up to 60. As soon as the patch hits GOG, I'll be buying a copy for sure!

The patch is in the beta channel on Steam right now, so I'm guessing that we'll see it shortly after it goes live there.

I already bought and played through the game on GOG. It'd be nice if we go the 60fps version too.
I believe I saw a dev mention in a thread here that the intent is to use Steam as a hotbed for ironing out patches, then giving us on GOG a "battle tested" version.

Totally agree. I was going to buy the game in GoG (a little bit cheaper) but I think I will choose Steam version instead. I prefer DRM to have an unpatched game. GoG has to do something about their patch validation process, because this is becoming too common.

You are correct, there was a dev on here that confirmed they are using steam as test run for their patches. Would be nice for them to confirm the 60 fps update coming to GOG though.

I emailed the devs a little while ago. The response I received was basically "We'll update GOG after we work out all the bugs with the Steam beta updates."
