Hey fellow flippers. Is there any more detailed information available about the release of the luxury DLC on Gog? It's on steam already, but the only information here is "soon" .. which can be tonight or in 3 months...

I can not bring you any information, I am disappointed with this expectation. I asked the question on the steam forum, we'll see if I get an answer.
I'm also waiting on the gog release for the DLC.
All I see on the Steam forums is they're having bug problems. I'm guessing they need more time to iron those out with Steam "play testers" before letting us in on it. They can't update nearly as much or often here as they can on Steam

I agree with you. I prefer to wait a little longer to have a version without problems than to have it released quickly on GOG. Previous DLC were plenty of bugs at the time of their release.
I agree with what you say, they tend to polish their game but dlc launches are catastrophic.
Here it is. 14$ does make me wonder how much it adds to the base game, though.
Yeah, I think I can just wait it out a while for now. Not so sure on that price at least for right now. Whole games are down to about as much and some less so making it a DLC costing that much when the base game itself isn't some AA or AAA game in the first place...

Just because it's luxury DLC doesn't mean it gets a luxury price. :P

I though the same as you at first, but after purchase the new DLC I have understood why the price is higher than previous DLCs. Garden Flipper size is about 370MB. HGTV Flipper size is 206MB. Luxury Flipper size is 1.61GB.

Anything can be BIGGER. But what's really in it that would actually make it worth buying at that price? I mean.. It's not the same thing but the Sims comes to mind where they'll have DLC but they're each quite expensive and there ends up being tons of it that will cost lots and lots of money while not really usually having THAT much content-wise to deserve those prices.

This is even less than something like a Sims game in that you're doing yard work, fixing up and decorating houses and not controlling lives of one or many sims including others in town and such with different goals, aspirations and so on. That's really all I'm wanting to know at this point.
