Hi everyone, quick question to Gog team or to people that bought the games on Gog

i'm curious about how the games are bundled: are there 4 different installers?

It matters to me because I intend to:
- play the games one at a time, on a storage-constrained windows setup
- archive only the installers of those games that I plan to replay in the future
- keep one game up-to-date without the need to download patches that cover all 4

Thank to whoever will reply with any clarification
I'd like to know also at which version number each game has been updated

As far as I understand, the remasters (HW1RM, HW2RM) are both at 2.0

What about the classics?
- HW1C = 1.0.6.x?
- HW2C = ?
The game is provided as a collection, so all 4 games are installed at once and a launcher is provided to load each game. It is not possible to remove parts of the collection when you play them.

As for the classics, they are updated to a newer patch version, the number of which is likely specified in the classic games themselves.

For what I see in the menus of each game :
- HW1C = 1C.0.6.1
- HW2C = 2.0
Thank you both

Too bad about the single installer, that's a kind of showstopper for me...
Is this the same with the Steam versions?

Yes, this is how the developers decided to release the collection and is the same on all versions, though I think the Steam version may allow you to prevent the download of specific parts at the start (but you won't be able to just "remove" them after installation)

Yes it would be much easier/ space saving and faster on the download to have a separate download for the remastered versions and the classic old version/s.

From the looks of it, on Steam you can download&install HW1R+HW1C and/or HW2R+HW2C separately :
