Is this the uncut version of Hitman 2 Silent Assassin? I remember the game being re-released back in the day due to a controversy with the Sikhs level. Does the GOG version include this level or is this the version with that content omitted?

Well the Sikh level would be missing from the game.

There isn't just one Sikh level but three:

Temple City Ambush
The Death of Hannelore
Terminal Hospitality

At least these are in the game offered here. From the information/rumors I have found online, one said 47 wouldn't be able to wear turbans in the modified version, but he can in this version.

They are not cut from the GOG version. (I'm 99% sure)

No mission were ever cut from any release of Hitman 2, even the censored version (v1.02) sold on Steam. The censored version removed some racist remarks from dialogues and a few bottles of alcohol from a religious temple. That's it. Even if GOG sold the censored version, you would still get all the missions.

So does GOG sell the edited version or not? I have this on Steam and I'm told that if I replace the files in the directory it undoes the censorship. I'd like to know so I can pick it up next sale if it's uncut. I'm not holding my breath that it is but still.

I know this now. I bought and downloaded it myself. Rewrote the files on my Steam game and made everything right as rain.

as fa as i know are just some words beeped over like "goddamn" in scripted scene.
I dont know of anything else that would be censored.

Well, initial reports back in the day were that an entire level was cut (the one on the island with the Sikh temple). Those have apparently indeed turned out to be just a rumour but it's a LITTLE bit more than what you said, it seems.

This post lists a few of the censored things. Nothing crucial was really removed but apparently the dialogue was altered quite shoddily and you don't get a full story explanation anymore.

But doesn't matter since, as Andkra100 said, GOG has the uncensored version.
