Ok, i need to ask. Was those Reviews and Accolades thing on the page of the game from the start or did they put it after people reviewed bomb it for the DRM?
I am really curious if they put that to combat the bad reviews with their own positive spin.

Also normal price is 60 euro? Seriously. A 5 year old game is still at initial price? That is what you get with digital games.
If it was physical copies by now it would have been in a discount basket selling for 15. But they ask for 60 hoping some eager fools with money will click it instead of waiting for a sale or something.
And when they make a sale they drop it to like a price that it would normally have been if it was sold in physical stores.
So basically no real sale at all. Got to love the digital market.

No, it was there from day 1. But there was no disclaimer about online only content. It was added due to backlash in reviews, at the very bottom of the page in a small font. Later it was changed to how it looks right now.

Even though it's still bowing down to the IOI overlords, Hitman is a very good game and I would probably actually pay 60 dollars for an offline true GOG release. I know, I have already paid that much to play an inferior version that slaps me in the face when power goes out in Copenhagen, but I've gotten 120 dollars worth of entertainment out of its replayability. A real DRM-free version for me would be appropriately priced at 60 bucks.
...Right now it's worth 0 bucks.

Yep.

I'm happy to pay regional full prices for newer games. With all of the content in offline / DRM fashion - I'd pull that pin without the sale no worries - but I won't pay a cent for it in the current format.

The worst part though, is it's stopped so many other purchases because of that erosion of confidence. Was happy expanding the library during sales with stuff that I know might be years before I play. Now, everything is a stop, wait, confirm.
