At first: it’s a good and fun game that I have played on other platforms.

I’m very disappointed about there are some online-only things such weapons, events, missions, skins and so on.

DRM free games is the only reason behind the fact that I prefer GOG instead of others platforms.

This title - in this conditions- shouldn’t be here for that reason.

This is unacceptable, for the sake of the one and most important founding principles of GOG: DRM free philosophy and preservation of old games.

One day, when the servers behind this game is gone/shutdown, good part of the game is gone forever and this is one of the worst plague in modern gaming (after microtransactions and cutting part of a game reselled as DLC).

So, we can’t allow that as community, with respectful and friendly manners is our duty to bring this to the attention of GOG staff.
So are the skins and other bonus stuff like extra missions locked behind online mode?

Disguises have to be unlocked in online mode (and then they will carry to offline if unlocked in online mode)

Well, then this is legit GOG breaking their no DRM "promise". Not that i held them in high regard after what they pulled last year.

Agreed, DRM has no place on GOG.

What happened last year?

Regardless, someone made a mistake. Thankfully that doesn't happen very often. Given the outrage that is happening, it's sure to be fixed soon.

Cyberpunk 2077 happened last year (aka lots of promises broken) and then that was followed by news that Devotion will be coming to GOG, only for them to post a few hours later that due to the gamer's feedback, they decided not to publish it (which is very suspicious, cause the majority of responses I've seen were overwhelmingly positive, so it's likely the actually reason behind was entirely different and similar to the reason to why Devotion was taken down from Steam in the first place, which let's just call "China not being very kind on Taiwanese developers making fun of their "president" and using proxies to have it shut down").

That wasn't anything more than whiners over-reacting to minor glitches that were swiftly fixed. The game was still playable, start to finish without any limitations. It was never a big problem.

This situation is a bit more serious. Much of the game content is not available unless you get online. That's online DRM. Games with online-locked content do not belong on GOG.

I was so excited when I saw this game became available on GOG because I thought we'd finally have a DRM-free version available offline. VERY disappointed to see that is not the case, and it's being falsely advertised as DRM-free.

Also worth noting they list the creators as "IO Interactive A/S, Feral Interactive", but Feral only did the Linux port which isn't even available here.

Seems pretty clear that IO and GOG don't want to keep me as a customer for long.
Keep pushing GoG to pressure Io Interactive and make them unlock all the missions.

Would probably have bought (again) if it were DRM free. This isn't that.
It's unfortunate that the no. 1 reason I use GoG is disappearing.....

I agree. This must be pulled out of store ASAP. Don't like this new direction they're taking.
