Hi, all!

I'm Cidney-- one of the coders for Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption. The latest Hero-U patch has just come out and is available on GoG. If you're using GoG Galaxy, it will be updated automatically.

The new patch toughens up the boss battle against the Wraith King, and also adds some quality of life improvements. Game speed can be increased (speeding up Shawn's walk through the castle); tooltips can be disabled; and there are numerous bug fixes.

If there are further issues with the patch, or outstanding bugs still present in Patch 4, please post about them here. The devs try to check the forums, but it's easy for bug reports to get buried or lose context in longer threads.

Thanks!
Game speed?! This sounds like a late Christmas for our community of speedrunners of this game. :D

@cidneyhamilton, could you suggest adding the version number somewhere to the game that we can use for reference? On the title screen, or something like that. We're discussing speedruns and version numbers are pretty important for us. :)

Just a suggestion. :)

ya a version number visible from the menu screen would be nice. I actually found it deep within my list of DRM free Humble Bundle games but that version didn't appear to ever have been updated

Makes sense to me. We'll have this in Patch 5. GoG Galaxy will show the latest patch and release notes, but that obviously isn't helpful to everyone.
It's great. I love being able to make the hero faster. I sure was surprised when I saw that the Wraith battle was harder though, but I guess that makes sense. It was pretty easy before if you were tough enough.
