Is there a way for me to play with my friend who lives a bits away from me? Like online play :p

well my friend and i are trying to play homm3 multiplayer and i did everything for hamachi, however he cant move his hamachi to the top of the list that homm3 will use to connect, that is the only thing that we need and we can play, any suggestions plz. [ive been dieing to play this game with an actual person for so long that its not even funny, so any help would be much appreciated]

How come he can't change the network priority for Hamachi? Anyway, the easiest way to play online would be GameRanger, as Tarnum said. Fixes all network settings for you.

GameRanger automatically detects the games on your computer, but if it fails to do so, you can find Heroes by going to Edit>Options, finding Heroes on the list and clicking Browse. Other than that it's rather simple, really.
You have two buttons, Host and Join, next to each other on the right side of the program just above the list of games. Just click Host, select your game settings and then click Ok. Now you have to wait for your friend to join your Room. It's much easier to join the game if you have added each other to the Friends list, from where you can just right click each other to join.
