I am experiencing crashes in Windows 10.

More precisely, the game freezes and I can't even kill the program, I have to reboot.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Are there any solutions?

Sadly, this game is (in)famous for having problems on modern OSs.

What worked for me was setting the affinity to only one core. My HOMM4 kept crashing every 30 minutes in any battle screen and as soon as I set Affinity to only 1 core I could play 4 hours straight without any crash.
