I'm playing a lot of this game but my save files are getting to be too many to dig through, is there any way to delete my saves?

More specifically to delete SOME saves, I don't want to uninstall the game and reinstall it in order to do so, I just want to delete some of the saves I'm not using.

On the load screen, click once on the savegame you want to delete to highlight it and use the 'Delete' key on your keyboard. You'll get a Yes/No prompt asking you if you really want to delete that save.

If you want to delete a lot of saves, it can take a lot of time to do it within the game, file by file. You can always go to the Games directory (within C:\Program Files\YOUR_HOMM_FOLDER_NAME) and delete the files manually.

Is this different in Good Old Games for anyone else? I can't find my saves in this folder! The folder C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete\Games is empty, but that's definitely where HEROES III is installed via GOG, and I can't find them anywhere else with search, either. I do have "Show Hidden Files" on. Any idea?

I want to copy my saved games from my original HMM3 to my new one on GoG but can't find the files

I go to Program Files/3DO/Heroes 3/games but the folder is empty. Any ideas where I can find the files?

Sorry for digging out the thread, but I spent quite a time to find the location of save files, so I want to share my findings to save everyone's time.

I've found save files in:
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Heroes of Might and Magic III\games
