Hi

I've been playing HOMM3 online with a couple of friends. We used to do this through GameRanger - but now it has stopped working for us.

Does anyone know of an alternative way to play it online?

What we would like to play is the classic Homm3 with the official expansions, so no HD-remake or Horn of the Abyss.

Using Hamachi and playing multi over TCP/IP is an option, but takes a bit of setup.

Thanks, I'll have a look.

The Gameranger fixes I found prescribed port-forwarding, disabling Windows Defender and my Firewall, and if that's what it takes to play multiplayer, I'm just going to stop playing it with friends, sad as that will be.

Firewall exceptions should be sufficient, all of you have to set them.
