Hi. When starting Homm3 on my system an icon for it will appear on my task bar, but the program will not actually launch at all. Then the icon disappears after a second, and my computer continues as though I never tried to launch. I receive no report of a crash or problem.

I've tried launching from the gog utility, from the exe on my system both normally and as an administrator, and switching to direct play in my windows legacy settings.
Also tried reinstalling several times.

I'm using Windows 10
Processor is an i3

Intel HD Graphics 620
Directx version is 12
[DirctDraw, Direct3D, and AGP Texture] Acceleration are all enabled.

I did restart after changing my legacy settings.

The HD mod does work!
I appreciate the help, but I'd like to understand why it works.

It seems to use a different renderer than stock HoMM3.
