Where might I find these? I've looked all over. God, I hate Vista (64). Thanks very much.

Have you checked C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ I think 64 fits into that path somewhere but I don't have vista so I'm not sure where.
In game directory, sub-directory "Games".
On Win7 64 they are in
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles(x86)\GOG.com\HOMM\Games

Thanks, but there is no 'AppData' folder in my Username folder. In my 'Username' folder I have another folder called 'Documents' which contains all saves for other games, but not Homm3.

In that directory I have another folder called 'savegames', but nothing shows up inside.

When I go to the 'Games' folder there is nothing inside. Is it possible I have something turned on or off that prohibits the '.cgm' save files from showing up? I'm new to Vista, so sorry...
Thanks.

Is your Windows Explorer configured to show hidden files and folders?

Like Wishbone said, under folder options on the 'View' tab, tick the 'Show hidden files, folders and drives' option. That will make the AppData folder in your <Username> folder visible.

Any ideas for Windows 7? I can't find the 'View" tab at all. Thanks.

Nevermind, found it... I had to click on Start... then in the "Search programs and files" box I typed "show hidden files" and that came up, so I clicked it, then another window popped up that had the option "show hidden files", I clicked that, and then I could see the "AppData" folder. AAA! How stressful that is when you can't find something and you know you're ALMOST THERE...! How relieving it is when you find it... blegh.
