Playing through the Chapters of Heroes Chronicles I finish scenarios before I can read the whole story (I mean the writings in the popup windows showed at the beggining of some turns), so I miss interesting parts.
I tried to google them, but I couldn't find anything.

I would be pleased if someone could tell me where or how can I read the texts without playing the game again slowly.

You might be able to read the text with the scenario editor or the campaign editor in Homm3. Don't have chronicles so can't test it.

Sadly enough there are no files in the /maps directory and I can't find map files nowhere among the chronicles files. :(

Win7's Virtual Store STRIKES AGAIN!

Look in your user directory. You might find a path something like this.

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete

I'm using XP on my old PC and as I said there is completely nothing in "...\GOG.com\Heroes Chronicles\<chaptername>\maps" folders.
And there are not any Chronicles files in "C:\Program Files\...", nor in "C:\Document and Settings\...".

Anyway thanks for your effort and willingness to help.
I host all of the texts from the Heroes Chronicles in .rtf form at my ancient site. You can read them here:

http://thespinwardtales.wikispaces.com/Campaign+Texts

Just don't go near any of the other pages. They embarrass me morbidly.

Link doesn't work. I would love to read the plot text that I miss due to completing the scenarios too quickly.
Personally, whenever I was ready to finish a mission and move on to the next one, I saved my game, parked my strongest hero in front of the AI's last castle so he wouldn't dare to leave and I just skipped to the next turn until the game stopped to give me text boxes at the start of my turn for a whole month. Typically, scenarios in Chronicles are designed so there are no more text boxes after two months on a short map, three months on a medium map, or four month on a large map.
