How do you make it work on PC? Trying to start "Chapter 1 - Warlords of the Wasteland"

Well... it has same issue as Heroes 3 has which is fixed thanks to the HoMM3HDmod. Its possible to put Heroes Chronicles to the folder of Heroes 3 folder, and add it to the "Maps" folder, in a video i watched. But not sure if this counts GOG installation though? Which is the one i bought

If you want it to just work just as it is, install the GL Wrapper, the usual one you'll find in the sticky post.... it's enough to make it run with no issues on modern PC

If you want them to be compatible with H3 HD Mod, you need to export the campaigns and play them as custom... you'll probably find the files already available somewhere to download, but you can do it with your own copy if you want; just get MMArchive and extract the .H3C files from the file "Data\xlBitmap.lod" present in each chapter folder

Thanks alot! Helped. But the instructions was sorta wrong.

In Heroes 3 you just have to add it to the root location of the folder. And in Chronicles you have to go in name of game folder and copy and paste the dll file to, first go to game root folder then name of the game, then paste it there. That did the trick for me! Maybe it depends on the game. But happy with it! Too bad that when i force it to 640x480 (to make it full screen), then the resolution makes the text a little iffy.. but not bad at all!

Edit: never mind, figured it out. Went into cfg file. Changed it from 1 to 0. And started "Launch Heroes 3" And did settings there by unhooking Aspect ratio and turning on full screen. And now the text is sharp without the 640 x 480 settings but with full screen. Thanks alot man!
