Blackdrazon: I imagine, with the M&M 1-6 pack out, that seeing Heroes Chronicles in a giant pack would make sense too. After all, only 6 of them were ever out for pay, and 2 of those were in one bundle (as everyone has already said). Combine that with a complete lack of multiplayer and skirmish mode compared to the real Heroes 3 and I'd say that balances out around $10. I'd have no problem with it.

Same here.
So could we get an answer from gog, if they ever going to put out heroes chronicles???
I really want them to, i would pay for it !!!

GOG team never talk about deals they are working on or looking at untill its actually been signed on. So at the point we find out if gog will get these games will be when they have actually signed a deal for them.
Considering that we have HoMM, HoMM2, HoMM3, and the M&M 6-pack on gog.com, Heroes Chronicles eventually appearing on here wouldn't be that big of a stretch. After all, all of the M&M games are now owned by Ubisoft, correct? Gog.com has already made 4 deals with them, why not make a 5th or 6th?
I also honestly doubt that we'd have to buy the Chronicles games 1 by 1(each costing 10 bucks) if they eventually do appear on this website.

homm4 gold or complete version would be a big step. :)

Indeed. HoMM4 is sorely missing.

I agree, however H4 Gold is the same as H4 Complete, isn't it?
Sorry for the necropost, but I thought the fact that Chronicles is finally here deserves a mention in this thread, and it looks like my -somewhat pessimistic- prediction regarding their price proved to be not true after all ;-).

I'm glad they proved you wrong :) this was an instant buy for me! Back in the day I managed to buy one of the chronicles, the Stronghold one, however I never got around to getting the others so I'll be able to play some campaigns that are still brand new to me! :)

Same here. When I bought HoMM3 years ago I also got a box set that had three of the Chronicles. I actually didn't even know that there were eight of them until now, I thought it was more like five or six.

If one has to be precise there actually only were five packets sold...The first four were sold in four different packages. The fifth and sixth campaign were free to download if you had some of the first four. The fifth campaign could be played if you had to other chronicles and the sixth if you had three. The seventh and eigth campaign were sold together as "The final chapters" which is why that is listed on the game card making it actually nine titles. But that one is actually campaign 7 and 8...

I'm slightly unclear on what this is.

It's like a Homm3 with 8 campaigns, right?

Can I install it and play the campaigns with my Homm3 (thereby allowing me to use the HD mod) or does it have to be played with it's own engine?

Does it have the play-balance fixes that are in the Homm3 from GOG ? (for example, the upgraded lvl 2 and 3 fortress units).

From what I read in another thread you can't use the HD mod with Chronicles or for that matter use the campaigns with the Heroes 3 executable.
