Does anyone remember those? Would be nice to see them here on GOG.
Yeah I bought them all. They are not very challenging in my opinion...

Cool! I never had a chance to play those, but would love to.
If memory serves, they were released to introduce the HOMM franchise to new, casual players. So that may explain why you think they're not so challenging.
I had the green dragons one, even though it was easy I still had alot of fun playing through it. I think they were made easier then the original games on purpose. I would definatly get a couple of them if they showed up on gog.
I had fun too. I always have fun playing HoMM :) But I was disappointed by the difficulty.
I think you are right Ralackk.

I'd buy them. Playing an easy strategy game can be relaxing, and personally I'd love to have more single-player Heroes gaming no matter how the content might be presented.

What were they? Collection of scenarios? Additional campaigns?

Additional campaigns, each chronicle had its own campaign and story.
They also had a pretty good story, ending with Tarnum basically causing the start of Heroes 4 because he shows mercy to Kilgor's wife.
While it's a reasonable idea, I'm not sure it's worth $10 for every piece (which, considering Ubisoft's pricing policy, isn't impossible). Given that (IIRC) there were 8 chronicles, it would mean $80 for the whole pack, which I think is too much. Maybe in two-in one packs.
Actually:
The first four (Warlords of the Wasteland, Conquest of the Underworld, Clash of the Dragons and Masters of the Elements) were released as single packs.
The next two (The World Tree and The Fiery Moon) were released for free to anyone who had some (two for World Tree, three for Fiery Moon) of the previous ones.
The final two (Revolt of the Beastmasters and The Sword of Frost) were released as a single pack called "The Final Chapters".
This was one thing I never managed to get at the time that I'd be interested in playing through Though hopefully as one big package, they aren't that big to pay $10 each.
yeah, the price could be an issue, as i don't think that GoG fans would be interested in buying them one by one...
I had the first four of the Heroes Chronicles. I enjoyed them more than the original HoMM III. The stories were more interesting, and having many smaller maps seemed better than a few big maps like in the HoMM III campaigns.
I never even tried the final four chapters, so if they ever end up on GOG it would be nostalgic *and* new (for me)!
I imagine, with the M&M 1-6 pack out, that seeing Heroes Chronicles in a giant pack would make sense too. After all, only 6 of them were ever out for pay, and 2 of those were in one bundle (as everyone has already said). Combine that with a complete lack of multiplayer and skirmish mode compared to the real Heroes 3 and I'd say that balances out around $10. I'd have no problem with it.
