I'm really tempted by the Steam daily deal, a big Might and Magic Heroes 6 bundle that has some exclusives.

HOMM is my favorite game franchise, and while I own it all on GOG and prefer to wait for them to get 6 and the other misc titles Steam now has and are including; I'd hate to miss that silly exclusive. Help!

I may be too late to help, but here's my input:

1) I doubt it'll come to GOG any time soon if ever b/c Ubi says everything will be Uplay from now on.
2) HoMM6 is okay. It has some new stuff to it, but it gets dull fast and you'll find yourself playing 5 again. 5 is just simply better than 6. But 6 is okay.

A few minutes too late, but thanks! I ended up buying it. Even if only for completionists purposes mainly, I'm ok with it. I honestly may never play 6. I'm still playing 3! I'll at least try a bit of the related titles included, Dark Messiah is downloading now.

And it certainly looks like it, but here's me waiting to get the game DRM-free someday. I mean, cmon.

Thanks to your post I finally played it. Only 15 or so minutes in but I really enjoyed it. I'm the type who starts 10 games at once and never finishes anything (except for millions of HOMM scenarios and campaigns), but I think I'll actually end up finishing Messiah this summer.

That can me, too. ;) Glad you enjoyed it! It's got some really thrilling moments in it. And all of the class skills are fun.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic looks good and amazing... at the beginning. And turns to an utter crap in the end (with large lifeless and incomplete maps, no story and senseless pastime).

P.S. Dark Messiah review (slightly overestimated, in my opinion).
