I am using Windows XP Home edition.
When I run the game it said CD is required.
What can I do?

Usually running the game as administrator helps. If not, try this:
0. Backup your savegames (if any).
1. Uninstall the game completely.
2. Clean your registry from 'New World Computing' entries (usually removing 'HKLM\SOFTWARE\New World Computing' is enough).
3. Reinstall the game as administrator. Do not install the game in 'Program Files' folder! Use something like C:\Games\Heroes3\
4. Always run the game as administrator

Also, if you run the game using the HoMM3 HD launcher, it gives you an option to run the game using a No CD option.
