I am trying to start a multiplayer game with one freind in Heroes 2 both using GOG Galaxy

We have followed the directions on the support page and entered in the hosts IP but as soon as we get to driect connect it says that both computers are waiting on other to join. Both the host computer and guest computer

What is the proper way to get this to work?

I was able to get multiplayer to work. Opened one game as the Server, then went to Multiplayer and then Network and then Netbios and Host.

I opened the Client game as a client, entered the IP address, and went to Multiplayer->Network->Netbios->Guest and it works.

Would you be willing to explain in more detail how you "Opened one game as the Server" and "Opened the game as a client"?
