Blarg: I've played Luna 3 times now, and twice I didn't have magic arrow to start, so eliminating that single shooter gremlin stack was impossible. Magic Arrow makes a huge difference in how far Luna can roam and what she can fight.

Never thought about using Spirit of Oppression, for some reason. That's a great solution to double-movers.

One other thing I've noticed -- I'm exhibiting a tendency to pick fights with Luna, which is all well and good and accomplishes many things, but ... i
I must say that 2/3 times NOT getting Magic Arrow is quite a bit odd. It's usually in the guild I would say 95% of the time. Haste & Slow are much more harder to get usually. Perhaps 2nd lvl for Lightning or Ice Bolt is what you have todo, bit more expensive but more powerful as well.

Yea without the Spirit I would never fight guys faster than my sprite. With it you know for sure you can position yourself and setup your wall before they get to you.

Hey keep in mind that Luna doesn't have to be your ONLY Hero here. I mean you still have all those creatures you dumped for a 2nd one that can focus just on getting to a 2nd town while Luna mops up.


H2Classic I agree Sir Mullich is totally broken. That +2 Speed is just insanely good which is why there are only 2 arti's that give speed the Necklace for +1 and Cape of Velocity for +2. The ONLY downside is his Leadership which I don't like but is totally not going to keep anyone from choosing him.

PS This is why he is banned from 99% of multiplayer games.

Third one is the Ring of Wayfarer that gives +1 speed.

So you can have max. +6 speed in any conditions and +7 for units on their native terrain (that means the slowest units in the game have 9-10 speed, unhasted!). This makes even stone golems, dwarves and dendroids usable. :P With Haste or Prayer you could end some battles in the first round. And there is only one shooting unit that is faster than that.
