Reading the blurb about this game suggests that there is choice whereby it can be played as a pure RPG (no RTS elements). Is this right?

I'm very tempted to buy the game but as I'm utterly useless at RTS games I'm having doubts. Does anyone have a definitive answer?

Thanks. I think I may well give this a miss as although it seems it can be played as an RPG, I'm worried about the 2 or 3 big RTS levels! I bought SpellForce 2 in the last sale and came badly unstuck with the RTS aspect of the game and in the end just gave up and uninstalled the game.
