If you add "-console" to the starting line, then ~ ,the tilde key, will bring up a console in the message area. By dismissing this, then going to the menu and selecting "Settings", you are given the cheat options. There is a whole screen full of cheats available, so you can select whichever cheat you desire. In my case, the "heal" cheat is the most used.
e.g.
"C:\GOG Games\Heretic Kingdoms - The Inquisition\kult.exe" -console

Hmm, doesn't work in my case, and the Temurian Shrine is kicking my ass. I get a greyish transparent box when I press the tilde key but nothing is in the Settings menu other than the usual Graphics and Audio options.
