Is it a demo of the game? Is that chapter included in the full game?

from the store page "The Thespian Feast is a free sequel-like chapter of Hellpoint, a dark and challenging action RPG where the line between science and occultism is unclear. "
im pretty certain its seperate.
But it was released in Feb, while the full game in June. So is it a demo or an actual full campaign?

When asked what this is one of the people from the dev team said:
Yes, it's a slice of the game for you to try out.

Ah, thanks. Guess I'll try it out and see.

I'm asking because I'm not a huge fans of demos that show the game in its unfinished stage, and this seems to be released a couple of months before main release. So I'm wondering how "complete" this is. I know it won't have all the weapons/enemies/items... etc, but I'm wondering if the gameplay itself changes.

I would say the chance for this is kinda high. Good balancing is very important in games like this one and I'm very sure there has been some fine-tuning in the past via patches.
That moment when noone has bought the game, so nobody can tell if there is a difference between a demo part advertised as a "prequel" and the fully released game.

The Thespian Feast can be considered a demo of Hellpoint. It was released before the full version.

It's basically the Port Issoudun level, which is also found in the main game. But the demo's difficulty is much higher since normally the protagonist doesn't reach this level so quickly. The enemies in the demo are similar to the full version.

If you're new to playing the game, I would suggest playing the full version first.
The wording on the store page is extremely confusing.

If it's a demo, then it should be clearly labeled as such.

And if it's a demo, then it should not be labeled as a "sequel" to the game, as that makes it sound like it's a free DLC add-on, not at all like a demo.

It says "Hellpoint Demo". Can't be clearer than that.

They simply tucked in the word "DEMO" onto the side of the video trailer banner but never mentioned the word in the text itself, where they made it seem like a stand-alone add-on. Hardly clear enough and an easy blind spot if you scroll down the page looking for information. Anyway, this thread clarifies the issue...
