Hello!

My request might not be very typical I think. I hope devs are also reading this forum

I am playing this great game with my kids because I am willing to introduce them to HEMA
However I am not willing to introduce them to hanging people just yet :P

Would it be possible to add an option to remove the map from the list of randomly picked maps?
Then I could avoid stress stress my kids to ask unneccesary questions when the map with hanging people accidently loads on survival mode ;)

Regards

You may want to consider posting your request on the HQ Steam forum or wait for a new video being released by Kubold - the developer - on his youtube channel, and write a comment immediatly, within the first hours.

We know for sure that Kubold reads and usually answers to meaningful comments to his YT videos, at least within the first ours.
We suspect that Kubold might read some of the discussions or request on Steam forum, but he does not answer there.
We do not know if Kubold ever take a glance at GOG forum, it's kind of desert.

@Pablossus

Since you are proposing basically a "censored" opition for the game, to make it more palatable for young kids, you might as well ask for an option, in Gameplay menu or configurable when launching the game .exe file, that does a proper job in sanitizing all "adult" game content:

- no macabre arenas.
- no live blades available (no blood shedding, no decapitations).
- other stuff?

Thank you, I agree

Many options are already there. You can switch off "show blood" in the settings and even if you fight with real blades, there is no gore included. I could not think about other stuff that is not appropriate for children. Only that one arena remains a problem I know about
