Thanks! I really appreciate it!

I have used pixel shaders before, but somehow I've never tried this one. It looks great.

I have edited the download.

Gotta thank you for this dosbox edit, man. I was starting to settle into thinking that it was just because I was running this game on a windows 8 OS.
Kudos. :D
I'm on day 2 and from the git-go none of the videos will play...they just skip through them.

I don't know how to mess around with DosBox's settings, so help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Just to get it right: Videos worked fine on day 1, but stopped working on day2?

Did you change disc by pressing CTRL + F4 when reaching day 2? IIRC my DosBox Setup doesn't change discs automatically...

Yes exactly.
And ahh, didn't know I had to do that. The gameplay was fine, it was just the vids weren't working.
I'll give it a try, man.
Thanks
Hmm...When I try changing to the second disk the speakers have an aneurysm and the game crashes.
Any ideas? I really want this game to work...even if I have to watch the videos by clicking on the individual files haha.
Here's a screenshot of the command prompt

Sorry, I mean to post a screenshot after I switched disks. Pic updated.
....okay...and here's Dosbox going apeshit.
I have no idea...

Please send me your savegame...
I don't know where it's keeping the savegame files. I can't find it anywhere in the Harvesterdosboxsetup folder.
I can find saved game states but not .sav files.

Edit: Nevermind, I found it but GOG isn't letting me upload it. :(

Hey Guys,
We've looked at your suggested fix. Unfortunately, there was a bit custom work that had to be done on both Dosbox and the Harvester to make them work properly. Unfortunately the Daum subversion has none of them, which is why it presents a variety of problems, like the cutscenes not playing at all, or skipping.

Right now, Dosbox SVN Daum as suggested by Silver83 is not usable for Harvester, at least not on our testing environment.

Thanks for the suggestion though. We actually use SVN Daum on Tomb Raider 1 and it does a good job there.

Alternatively, try changing the "output" line in dosbox_Harvester.conf to:

output=opengl

This will switch rendering to OpenGL. It might be unstable or produce weird effects on some systems, but it should reduce the cutscene lag to a minimum.

That is no real improvement :( There is still considerably too much lag. Could you guys be more specific about the changes you had to do for Harvester? Maybe they could be implemented into SVN Daum.

So Tolya, after all these posts and troubles, can you tell what's the best config to play Harvester? OpenGl or the initial config? I'm asking this since the game seems kinda 'broke' (but very playable) to me even after the fix :(

thanks!
