When I opened my library this morning I saw "Hard West II" had appeared, but only as a link to the shop site and a comment that I need the base game to play the DLC. What happened? Is this very weird marketing or a bug?

At first I thought "maybe all users got a free DLC", but even if so please do not show it in our library if we don't own the game.

If it's just a bug, no problem please consider this a bug report.

Hi fsmcas.

Just noticed myself, that the Hard West II - Faithful Outlaw DLC is listed under my "orders history" tab, as well as a new entry (you have a screenshot of) in my library.
It must be related to the reward promised by the developers to all owners of the first Hard West game, back in September. They must have finally made it work with GOG's store and given it out preemptively.

GOG.com does not allow users to buy DLCs, without owning the base game first or buying the base game and the DLC's in the same purchase. This is the first exception I have witnessed.

Best thing is that I am not allowed to hide this useless entry, in the browser based library, since I don't own Hard West II.

Cheers.

Well thank you. I was here to ask the very same question as fsmcas.

Well done!

Mistook it for a general discussion section at first, my bad. More info here.

Well, same here. And also rather annoyed that I cannot hide it.
:(
I don't plan buying the new game since I didn't truly enjoy the first one. I don't want that link permanently in my library.
So a plea to the technicians that make things happen here... let us remove or hide this entry. Please.

That is it.
Thanks.

Same here. I have "Hard West 2" in my library, It says it needs the host game to run, Hard West 2. There is no mention of it being a DLC. It does not belong in my library. How do we remove this?
How can I remove this s*** ?
There is barely something as annoying as unwanted scrap you cannot hide in the library....
Yes, please let me remove or hide this. It's very annoying to have an unplayable DLC for the sequel of a game I didn't enjoy and hid in my library, which I didn't ask for and can't even hide – it feels more like a permanent and un-dismissable advertisement for CreativeForge that has been allowed to be set up in my paid games library.
I didn't even buy the first game, just got it as an unwanted free bonus with another game. Now this shit sits in my library and I can't get rid of it.
